A woman was swallowed by a sinkhole in Lanzhou City, northwest China's Gansu Province on November 11. Dramatic video from the scene showed the woman suddenly plunging into the pavement as it collapsed beneath her.
Fortunately, she was rescued by local police officers and only suffered rib fractures.
